This hotel is located on Balestier road, around an 8-minute drive from Orchard Road, the famous shopping belt in Singapore, and some 10-minutes by car from the city centre. It lies about 5 minutes by car from the Novena MRT Station, giving guests access to the convenient and extensive subway system that spans the entire island. Within approximately a 5-minute walk is the Shaw Plaza - a complex housing a supermarket, a cineplex, a fast food restaurant and shops. A further 5-7 minutes walk away, approximately, are the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, the Sasanaramsi Burmese Temple and many interesting eateries offering local cuisine such as chicken rice, rice dumplings and ""steam boat"".The hotel features guest rooms that are small and simple but clean, with a choice of one queen-size bed or 2 single beds (subject to availability). No extra bedding is allowed. Among the basic amenities provided are a colour TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, a hairdryer, coded key-card entry, an en suite bathroom with a standing shower and heater, a direct dial telephone with international calling, tea/ coffee making facilities, as well as complimentary drinks and snacks.
